J24 Sailing Courses for Teenagers

What is it about being a teenager?
You have reached a stage in your life when you are so ready to try new things (as long as you don't look dumb in front of your friends), you are strong and reasonably fit and full of energy, you have a brain that is super tuned to learning right now, you have plenty of free time...... and yet, there is so little out there for your to do.

Adults can do everything they want, and younger kids have endless activities, but you seem to fall into a black hole in between...
Well, we would love to take you sailing - to quickly put you in charge of your boat, with others of your own age, to learn and have fun had have some adventure all at the same time.
Below is our list of courses for teenagers and young adults. These can be done on weekdays or on weekends.

J24 Basic sailing

This is a course for teenagers between 13 and 19, and is done in a J24 in which you will learn to sail and have fun going somewhere different every day, anchoring somewhere for lunch, and having the satisfaction and fun of being able to take out and control a yacht of your own. One instructor and 3 students per boat. Courses last 2 days or 4 days (9.30 - 4.30 each day)




J24 Spinnaker handling and advanced sailing

Learn to sail a spinnaker.- Contenders for this course must have some prior sailing experience. Course lasts 2 days or 4 days (9.30 - 4.30).
